Now in its 13th year, the Ramses User Meeting (RUM) aims to bring together RAMSES users of all levels to present scientific results, new technical developments and challenges. This year’s meeting is held in Strasbourg, on May 12-16, and organized by Observatoire astronomique de Strasbourg. Participation is free of charge, but you have to organize your travel, meals, and accommodation. The core workshop and presentations will take place on May 12-14, and the Hackathon on May 15-16.
Ramses Hackathon
We will dedicate two days of the RUM (Thu 15-Fri 16) to coding and documenting. The idea is to identify issues with RAMSES, tackle them, improve documentation, add test problems and brainstorm in general. Hackathon participation is optional: register only for the first three days of the meeting if you do not wish to hack. You can also use the last two days of the meeting for science collaboration with other participants.
Venue: Observatoire Astronomique de Strasbourg
The RUM2025 will take place at Observatoire Astronomique de Strasbourg, located 11 rue de l’Université, 67000 STRASBOURG, in the main building. The presentations will take place in the amphithéatre. The Hackathon will take place in the salle de réunion (basement), and salle de cours (just opposite the amphithéatre).
