Abstract: In the context of exascale computing, profiling has become a key tool for optimising performance on parallel architectures. This training course presents the basics of profiling MPI, OpenMP, and hybrid applications using tools such as Intel VTune, Score-P, etc. Through concrete examples, participants will learn how to identify bottlenecks, analyze CPU/memory usage, and guide optimizations.
